A Poem of Today

Me : Surrounded by Me, introspective of Me
All knowing, all seeing, this universe circles Me
Happens for my benefit, egocentric about Me
I invite you in for my entertainment
I grant you the privilege of listening to Me
I make up what I say as I go along
Because it is incumbent of Me
You will do what I want, when I want
This world rotates around Me
There is no we in Me
I alone know what is best
I have no time to put up with you
Lately what have you done for Me
I see only what I wish to see
And mostly, not much concerns Me
When do we eat? I am hungry now
You will jump to my beck and call
And support my effort as I spit on you
Because the only one of importance is Me
(Why do I hate the mirror?)
