Ahem, Ahem - Jeff, Susan?
YoIf the folks in the legislature think we haven't noticed HB2614, then they are mistaken. This bill takes away the right to participate in the political process from every democrat and republican that votes in a primary. Say what! Yeah - well, the courts told the politicos that they can't restrict the independent candidate's first amendment right to free speech. So instead, they'll clamp down on all their own people - if you choose to be one of us, you can only vote for one of us. HB2614 resticts people that vote in primaries from signing petitions for independent candidates. Don't take my word for it - Go Read the Bill!

I talked to Susan Morgan on Friday and the legislation had already passed the house with amendments. It is on the governors desk - everything that the bowel movement of Salem produces will come forth in one mighty blast and the governor is a partisan politician. If you see this, know that i tried to make a difference, but ... when the steamroller is coming, you gotta get out of the way.
