status of public education

hopeless : any student that listens to the thrall of the education conglomerate and believes it, must become aware of reality through the painful school of hard knocks. time was when you could refrain from responsibility from life by defering time into gathering education, and the payback to society was to give the educated the latitude to do something in the field of their knowledge.

today, not only do they tell us what they want us to do in our narrow fields, but they tell us how to do it methodologically and what results they will accept as correct. if you do not produce what you propose exactly how you propose it, you will become liable for any minor deviations that you made that may not have been commonly accepted by the consensus of experts that have developed or emulated the ideology of the field (usually the latter, since the developers were free thinkers that had the latitude to develop experimental ideas into test practices, but not the longitude to stop the testing when the invested in program didn't work as planned.)

but nothing ever works as planned - talk to Murphy about his law.
