Distillin Ethanol

Old wine is 12-15% Ethanol. Ethanol is a solvent that can be used for other purposes. Collecting parameters on wine making and disposing of the refuse is a matter of collecting the ethanol and composting the residue. Current limiting factor is the size of the boiling flask - but scale up should allow better recovery. This ethanol will be used as a preservative for macro-invertebrates. When we get beyond the bench scale process, then we will have solvent for the production of bio-diesel.
