E1(selig) - BB in Apr in Cle???

Scheduling major league baseball must be quite the chore, but the snowouts in Cleveland have led to moving the Angel-Indian series to Milwaukee. I wanna know - who is gonna buy tickets to see a game between two out of town teams - and how much revenue will be lost to the Indians franchise due to the folly of scheduling three consecutive home series in a non-dome stadium in early April. Will there be some compensation payment?

Having done statistical analysis of every scheduling format since 1900 ('70-'71 MLB and '69-'92 NL are my faves), and having created schedules for my own computer simulated baseball games, I can say that the current scheduling format (since '97) is many times more complex than any other in history. I don't envy the schedule maker, although I might envy his fees.

I would go see such a game, but then I'm an idiot. I doubt I'd pay full price, though. No, there won't be monetary compensation, but likely future scheduling perks. But, I do know enough about scheduling difficulties to say that there was no reason for the three series, aside from possibly being forced by the back room politics that go on between teams prior to the making of the next year's schedule.
