Recovery

As it all comes down, the grubbermint is going to look to launch programs wholesale to pay for the few services that it has left to offer. We can imagine them letting go of the things that do not pay for themselves, like the schools, as they move to control businesses like the banks and general motors. perhaps this will be good for us in the long run (and the short run)!

If we wish to fix the problems that dwell at the heart of our society, we must move howdt of the mindset that created these problems. When we listen to the youth, we find that they are frustrated with a lack of substance in the material that they are supposedly being taught. Reformulating apprenticeship programs to pass along real knowledge about the mechanisms of doing involves taking kids under wing and working with them hands on while they learn and we learn ourselves. We cannot teach effectively unless we are learning at the same time. We deceive ourselves by thinking we have all the answers

The trick is to develop hands-on skill training by creating vocational training in all fields. We need to first ensure nutritious food and clean water, durable clothing and provide shelter for all people. We do not need a failing monetary system dominated by industries such as banking and insurance, which cost a lot and provide very little in terms of service and materials. The key is material transformation on every level of scale - we have to do by doing and not just talking about it.
