Good Easter Sunday Morning

Serenading my honey with old Burt Bacharat tunes - sung by groups like the Carpenters in the early 70's. It feels strange to have total recall into that era, just before my musical tastes turned to Blue Oyster Cult and Led Zeppelin. Somehow Queen's We are the Champions became the rock pop idol that everybody plays to announce whatever it is that they feel is important. Music soothes the savage beast, or awakens the tiger to hunt.

Wake-up today was enhanced by purr therapy. The kitty was highly appreciative of the change in venue last night, as the wind was howling. One of the candles let go and poured howdt the side onto a counter. The result is the two dimensional wax dragon shown in the photo. I would love to cast the pattern in copper or bronze - but the wax is fairly fragile. Maybe is will pretend that i am an artist and sketch the pattern from the photo.

We are collective losing our minds, as the operating function gets odder - listened to Clif and George on Coast to Coast last night (from Apr 1), fell asleep and then created some fairly entertaining dreamscapes. I saw a light at the end of the tunnel and followed it and came out into a 6 am world where the cat had snuggled right down in the midst of the bodies and pillows - such joy just has to be appreciated as an appealing reminder that we need to let go of all this bad stuff and just grasp the change as a learning experience. What was is over, what will be, will be. Join the quest! Tell em lemme sent ya.
