Morning Thunder

Good morning on a monday - time to awaken into the dawn of a new world - a new point in time. Keeping a positive spin on the reality game means blatantly ignoring the obvious - we have been taken to the cleaners by the people that drive the system. While i like to rag on the powers that be with all the rest of the bloggers, this time i have noticed a difference in the pressure points.

Allow me to step back for a moment. In January, i began noticing that the stress levels would rise right before the end of the month and leach into the beginning of the next month. February stress went a few extra days, March four or five, april a week. Well, May is still stressed and its double digits today - the tenth of the month.

Now the folks who are hurting are placing pressure on the rest of us. The panic means that regular people are starting to pressure each other - and everybody wants to enforce different rules that benefit themselves and penalize others. The people on the edge are overstressed right now and they are their own pressure point - which the rest of us really don't need. I can get pissed at the govt. and still function - it is a lot more difficult to get pissed at friends who are stressed by their own problems and taking it out on me.

It is even worse, when trying to work with community groups that each have their own agenda. The push comes to shove and people are being downright nasty. Cooperation ebbs when people are so out for themselves that there is no mutual win/win. So everybody, please, take a deep breath, smile and LET IT GO!!! Then relax and get on with whatever we need to do to maintain.

However, this system is penalizing those that work jobs and rewarding those that work the system. Some of us have just stopped - but there are enough others still going through the motions that keep things eking along. We need to think in systems planning - to start the next system while this one winds down. I am open to suggestions.
