Neo-Anarchy

The abuse of government function has turned our nation into a scam of rules on regulations on laws on decrees (czars?) with rabid dog enforcement of the trivial (smoking pot) as egregious wrongs (grand juries) are condoned. Perhaps it is time to look into the representation of the law and what it really means to not have law - anarchy.

The volume of rules, regulations and laws have gotten out of hand. The enforcement state uses punishment as a form to extracting more money from a frayed populace. If we can turn down the spigot to a manageable flow of reasonable laws, with simple language and several valid mechanisms of approach, then perhaps we can use the freedom to deal with some of the breakdowns through an 'howdtside da baax' approach.

Take for example - building code. The rest of the world has great experience with cobb housing, no architect or builder can get one approved for rural community life. Zoning laws are designed for herds - created to establish profit centers. You know what i mean without needing more examples. We need to quit 'allowing' - sovereign people can understand the concepts and work through the issues for the best fit without micromanagement via straight-jacket parameters.

The time has come to roll back the legal system. If everything were reset to the organic constitution - the bill of rights included - a newly elected congress with no seniority games might be able to fix the Republic. Anything short and we have a fractal of the mess that we are already involved with. Originally - lawyers and barristers were restricted to the judicial branch of government - not allowed to dominate the executive and congressional branches. Now we have bills passed that are fast-tracked through congress without time to assess the implication. Congress is completely out of touch (except mebbe Ron Paul).

The solution is to build an emergent new system starting from the local community level up to a nation. Top down federal government needs to be replaced by a system where the people know their representative to the next level directly, on a first name, chat with you on the street basis. All government function would be restricted to the scope and scale of the people affected, such that the states form when the locations within the state require context over greater land areas. Heinlein wrote many science fiction stories describing different social orders - one size fits all bursts too many seams.

The current social strata is gone. We cannot allow the corporate government to loot the populace any longer. As nancy r. said - Just Say No. When controlled anarchy is set into motion, a different order will arise from the chaos. If we cannot change, then our slogan will be - Just Say Moo.
