Mom’s Day

The artificial holiday most commercialized for the buying public.  This was the diamond merchants and the flower growers needing a place to hawk their wares in mid spring.  It meets the definition of a Hallmark holiday – spend some of that cash, now.
I am thankful that Mom’s alive.  Plan is to call her later this day; the incommunicado part falls by the wayside when mom expects a call.  I have a card too, but I have to send it and we have yet to establish mail service.  It will happen – life only allows a bypass for temporary relief.
A pick-up truck is loaded heavy and parked outside.  The rear tire is on the ground – as soon as the engine stopped, the forced air removal took over.  The lab room is empty – needs a finer sweep and then reloading begins.  It will take one vehicle load to bring most of the stuff a hundred yards – weI know better than to try to carry heavy stuff with a bad back.
Photographs to document the memories.  The clean pix get taken today and then the fill in the stuff takes place.  Talk to J.1 tomorrow, get marching orders for the beginning of crushing and analyzing.  Feels like an OMD song (Crush) is on the way – will be glad when I have net access to the entire library of musical history.
