Civil Disobedience

ReadHenry David Thoreau had an essay Civil Disobedience that I much preferred to Walden. With the current system denying people a fair shake at justice, there is no reason to become informed about the myriad of rules being implemented by regulatory agencies - you've already broken them. Enforcement is arbitrary and capicious and innocence has no place in the courtroom procedings. The defendant has charges stacked against him, and often knows more about the legal basis for his claim than the prosecutor. But the art of the deal is what is important and the little fish fry unless they narc on the big fish. Truth is a sidebar if it is present at all.
ThisNow the big fish are running scared. It would be a very good time to invest one's time in a personal hobby, creating something of value. Participate in the system at a minimum, only at points where there is real influence in the power structure. If it were practical, accept no wage; but until the yuan collapses, money fuels the engine, even if it is funny money. First survive, then think, then act.
