History we don't wish to repeat

For those of you who are history buffs, the archdruid is reviewing the track of establishing empire. My personal belief is that we need to come up with a new system that carries few institutions forward - bootstrapping from the ground up based on need and merit. My anglo interests revolve around the good Doctor and his Tardis - but the nature of power and war are misunderstood by those of us who learned in conventional education.

On another note, the tensions of the world are brought home by the very local news - two of the three pets have been assaulted in the neighborhood this week. First - Seuss Dog went under a fence and allowed the big puppies that she antagonizes daily to actualley get at here and a small weiner dog vs two shepherds isn't a fight - she was in shock for a couple of days.

Then last night, the white kitty bolted in through the window, coated in blood and mud. Somebody feline appears to have given him a good thrashing. Not nearly the pretty kitty that he normally is - he is sleeping this one off. If the animals are fighting, then what is the karma of the entire atmosphere?

Satyagraha - pay attention to things in your own sphere. Descend away from the big picture nonsense and withdraw into the action of all you can do, which is all you can do. Politics is hopeless; the grasp of the empire is over the tipping point - it is shrinking, not expanding. We are not entitled; we are sovereign unto ourselves and need to prepare for come what may.

Part of the problem is severe political correctness. I am not afraid of anything in the big picture, but i avoid most social interaction because of the rewards gathered by turning other people in. I am a reactionary radical that believes that all sides are stressed - the hope is in love, not in fear or hatred. Thus, i am different and a target for somebody looking to cash in by enforcing the sameness, the blandness and the intrusion of empire dominated life.

I release the empire - entirely and establish myself as a universal sovereign of a living earth. Now, I need to connive a copy of the archdruid's new book - as i will use neither electronic money, nor the failed banking system.
